Aviation Preservation Talk

On Thursday 4th May we welcome Robin Heaps, Secretary at Medway Aircraft Preservation Society Ltd (MAPSL).
His talk – Aviation Preservation at Medway – will provide a brief overview of the work of MAPSL in restoring and preserving historic aircraft and artefacts and the operation of the company.
The talk will last about 45 minutes, and allow time for a question-and-answer session.
Robin studied engineering at Bristol University before working for more than forty years on advanced flight control systems at what is now BAE Systems at Rochester. There he had responsibility for the design, commissioning and integration of electronic systems for safety critical applications and supporting various national and international advanced technology programmes.
