Concert brings comfort and joy to town centre

On Thursday December 1, MMF began the countdown to Christmas at their 8th annual carol concert. The event saw a crowd of around 60 people, many wearing a festive hat, gathering to listen as the Invicta Grammar School choir sang a wide variety of songs, with Miss Hughes accompanying on the piano.

ALLINGTON CASTLE TRIP

About 30 Friends joined a visit around parts of Allington Castle and the gardens, on a splendid evening of the 4th August.
We were treated to a superb guided tour by two expert and humorous guides. They imparted much information about the castle and the grounds – their history, uses and various restorations – to bring them to their glory today.

WHY MAIDSTONE?

The Archbishops of Canterbury played a key role in making Maidstone the prominent town it is today.
