There was a good turn out to this year’s AGM, held again in the Friends’ Shop.
There were excellent and informative reports from the Chairman, recounting the year’s efforts and achievements, and from the Treasurer, showing the organisation is in very good shape finance-wise.

Primary Speaks Competition

May 2023
On 3rd May year 5 and 6 year students from local primary schools participated in the ‘Primary Speaks’ competition, organised and run by the MMF Youth Ambassadors.

The aim of the day was to encourage a range of young people to become involved and interested in the amazing local resources and collections that the Museum provides

Student Access to Museum

April 2023

The Museum is to be used every Friday for extended student access.

The Museum received 70 responses to the survey it undertook last month, into the demand from young people for this facility. The majority of these were very supportive.
As a result, the Museum will trial a project for three terms offering the library for homework.

Music to make Kentish Hearts Sing
